I started in 1974 - when a Scots enthusiast was discovered in Canada. It was one of the original one-name studies registered with the Guild in 1979.

Different spellings of the ending 'ley' are researched (the 2nd syllable)

Origin of the surname

Villages of East and West Parley in Dorsetshire - an anglo-saxon place name.

Historical occurrences

Several eccentric Parleys but no one of historical interest.

This is a really small group.
