About the Lowbridge One-Name Study

I am researching the surname Lowbridge, which initially was based in the counties of Shropshire, Staffordshire and Warwickshire, though nowadays members of the family have spread themselves around the Uk. There is a branch of the family that has settled in Australia in the 1800's, also some have gone to the USA.

Origin of the surname

The earliest location that I have for the surname is Hartlebury in Worcestershire in the mid 1600s.

I have collated information from the UK censuses, British Vital Records, IGI, National Burial Index, from some of the birth, marriage and death certificates and also from contacts that I have made whilst researching the surname.
