The Guild organises a number of seminars and conferences every year as part of its remit to advance the education of the public in both one-name studies specifically and in the wider subject of genealogy generally. Both Guild members and non-members are welcome to attend. To get a flavour of our events, you can watch, download or learn more about the talks featured in the Guild's 2013 Annual Conference and AGM by clicking here.

In addition to the events the Guild organises, there are also other events globally which the Guild attends as sponsors or presenters, or by the presence of the Guild Stand at Family History Fairs, Shows, or Open Days.

At local Family History Fairs the Guild Stand is usually represented by a local Guild member; if you are a Guild member, and are able to assist with the Guild Stand at any of the events shown below, (even if only for a short time during the day) your help would be much appreciated. Please contact the Guild Stand Manager to discuss.
