The Guild organises a number of seminars and conferences every year as part of its remit to advance the education of the public in both one-name studies specifically and in the wider subject of genealogy generally. Both Guild members and non-members are welcome to attend. Booking for each event normally opens immediately after the previous event. Where booking is in progress, follow the links for more details and booking instructions.

In addition, there are other events, both in the UK and around the world, where the Guild or Guild members are represented, for instance as sponsors or presenters, or by the presence of the Guild Stand at Family History Fairs, Shows, or Open Days. Click to show ALL events below.

At local Family History Fairs the Guild Stand is usually represented by a local Guild member; if you are a Guild member, and are able to assist with the Guild Stand at any of the events shown below, (even if only for a short time during the day) your help would be much appreciated. Click on the "FHS Fair" logo next to the event for an email link to the Stand Organiser responsible.
